Wendy & David are high school sweethearts. They met each other through the Cross Country team of Umatilla High School. Wendy was a Junior and David was a Senior, and well they stole each others hearts.
There relationship began on January 26, 2013 and exactly three years to the date, David asked Wendy to be his life partner.
Wendy & David both come from large Hispanic families, and as they began the wedding planning process, their guest list grew so large, that they found they were losing the focus of this special day, a day and moment that should be focused on each other.
With their families blessing, they began to plan an elaborately styled elopement wedding. They reached out Mo Aguilar of MOH Photography as they knew they wanted her to capture this special day. With the assistance of Mo on seeking the perfect location, they decided on a gorgeous, semi-private location, high above the Columbia River, Twin Sister's nature area.
Mo reached out to me asking if I would be interested in working with her and her clients on planning and styling their elopement. I of course, couldn't say no, and the planning process started immediately. We worked together to select the color palette, style, and theme. They trusted me with their vision, and trusted me on their floral designs and designer. Kris Bennett of KRISanthemums did an amazing job on creating this brides florals.
We were truly blessed to be a part of Wendy & Davids special day.
XO,
Trixie

OUR ADVICE: Don't be afraid of doing things differently. Splurge on the things you think are worth it. This couple didn't spend very much on their attire or the location (free), but they splurged on what mattered to them, their photographer and their florals.
