Bailey and Kurt have known each other for many years before becoming a couple. They new each other in Highschool, and connected during College in Portland, OR. There love became solid and after completing college in Portland, returned to their home town area of Hermiston, Oregon.
Bailey is a local dental hygienist by day and an artist by night and Kurt is a local Police Officer by day, who is known around town as Officer Handsome!
When I first met Bailey, she took me to her home after our meeting at starbucks so I can envision her dream wedding. A wedding full of things old but loved, a wedding full of classic character of days gone by. Our relationship started as me her planner, and transitioned into her wedding designer as well. This was a true honor.
The details: Where to begin? From the perfectly designed and hand built repurposed barn wood chevron wall, to the intricately picked farm fresh florals from My Garden Overfloweth in Patterson, WA, the bride and her bridal party used to create their very own bouquets, or the dreamy location of "The Ballroom" at Sno Road Winery.
Bailey and Kurtis wedding was personalized from the very beginning. They knew they wanted to get married in their home town of Echo and a place that was near and dear to their hearts. They wanted to be surround by family and friends and of course good Oregon wine.
Bailey is as creative as they come and you will see how she incorporated the fine linens of Pendleton Wool Co into her bridal decor. She also hand wrote each of her wedding invitation envelopes and created personal gifts for her bridal party. Kurtis, is also handy with wood, hence the beautiful wall.
Their vow's included placing them in a personalized hand carved wooden wine box, to be opened and read on their first anniversary. A personalized signature bottle of wine was included by the gracious owners of Sno Road Winery.
This was definately a swoon worthy love affair.
