- Should I or shouldn't I do my own centerpieces? As your wedding planner, we will support you in any decision you make. Many brides are talented and crafty or maybe you have a family member who is. Many brides want to have a hand in their decor for their big day. When dreaming of your centerpiece keep in mind if you want simple or detailed. A simple centerpiece, for example, baby's breath in a mason jar, that would be very inexpensive and won't need much tools. A more intricate and detailed centerpiece will require special tools, and a larger supply of delecate flowers. A professional florist has all of the tools in stock, has the ability to store your florals in a cooled enviroment, will spend the last few days of your wedding creating each piece, and will deliver and set up the florals for you.
- Can you handle the deadline to create your arrangements? This is a very important question to ask yourself. You need to be good at multi-tasking, deadlines, as well as have a plan in place as to who will keep the flowers and deliver and set up. This is the last thing you want to worry about on your wedding day. If you decide that yes you can, I as your wedding planner will still strongly encourage you to have your bridal flowers created by a proffessional florist as they are the most photographed flowers on the wedding day. This includes the bridesmaids flowers, groomsman, etc.
